Hi mikecc419, Bidefender says there is a Firefox version (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/.../25583/) but I think your Bitdefender software manages the installation.
Could you go into Bitdefender, look for the Privacy menu (possibly under "Navigation") then AntiTracker, and see whether it is enabled for Firefox.
After enabling for Firefox, exit Firefox and restart it. Then check the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then scan down the list on the right side. Disabled extensions cluster at the bottom.
Can you find it and enable it there?
I followed your instructions, from the Bitdefender Anti_Tracker settings there is a option to install to Firefox, when you click this link it takes you to the add on page on Firefox , could not find the add on or extension, i entered it in search, and got this 0 results found for "Bitdefender Anti-tracker
I don't think Bitdefender distributes the extension through the Mozilla Add-ons site, it comes directly from them. If you did not see it on the Extensions list (enabled or disabled), could you check with their support on why Firefox might not be detecting it? If you can find out where it is installed on the system, that might help.
