Thunderbird lost 2 messages syncing with IMAP server

I run 68.3 on four Windows accounts. Thunderbird on one Windows account lost two emails. The emails exist on the server and appear in Thunderbird on 3 Windows accounts and also on the vendor-supplied email apps on my phone and tablet. Thunderbird on the Windows account I use every day does not synchronize to show those two emails. I have shutdown and restarted Thunderbird and restarted the computer with no success in retrieving those two emails in that one account.

How do I get those two emails to reappear in Thunderbird?

Chosen solution

If the messages exist on the IMAP server when you view the account through webmail, you can force a re-download of the folder in TB by right-clicking, Properties, Repair Folder.

That fixed it. I thought that I was likely missing some other mechanism for forcing synchronization, but I couldn't find it. Thank you for your help.
