I have a Firefox account. I have downloaded Thunderbird Mail. I am trying to migrate from Outlook to Thunderbird. I cannot. I have verified my login credentials by logging in and out of Outlook online. I have compared and verified the mail settings that Mozilla provided against those in Outlook settings. Yet, I cannot log in to Outlook Mail using Thunderbird. Has anyone else encountered/solved this issue. I'm attempting to migrate a @live.com account. What am I doing wrong?

Chosen solution

What are the settings you applied? They should be: incoming outlook.office365.com on port 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP), SSL/TLS, outgoing smtp.office365.com on port 587, STARTTLS; authentication = normal password, User Name = email address. If you have 2-step verification on the account, use an app password instead of the account password. Disable a VPN if you have one.
