I'm getting this error message when trying to get new mail. Never received it before and is happening on two different computers. Can anyone tell me what this means?

The POP3 mail server (inbound.att.net) does not support UIDL or XTND XLST, which are required to implement the ``Leave on Server, ``Maximum Message Size or ``Fetch Headers Only options. To download your mail, turn off these options in the Server Settings for your mail server in the Account Settings window.

It means your tangled up with yahoo and ATT basically... all the post on this forum for this issue relate to the disaster that is ATT/Yahoo email.

Your only choice really is restart Thunderbird and hope you get a non broken yahoo server instead of the one that does not work.
