Plus/minus buttons for zooming in print preview
Currently, zoom level in print preview of Thunderbird and Firefox can be modified only by clicking the drop-down buttom and selecting the zoom option from the list. However it could be very useful to also place two buttons (plus and minus) to directly change the zoom level (for example by 1% at each click) and dinamically see the effects in the print preview. This is a default feature in other browsers like Chrome and Edge. Is it possibile to add it in print preview of Thunderbird and Firefox as well?

That would be an enhancement request. As such an enhancement request can be lodged in Bugzilla. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home
As print preview is I think a shared component from the Mozilla platform Firefox and Thunderbird share, you could try submitting feedback from the Firefox help menu. If firefox introduce it, Thunderbird will inherit it.
Personally I use the shrink page to fit width setting. That way if I get more than one page it is because the topic is long, not because someone is using US sized pages instead of the more common A4 for the rest of the world
Dear Matt, thanks for your reply. Usually, I also set the shrink page to fit width. However, very often I need a more "fine" scaling (e.g. to make 1-2 lines to stay in a page rather than another when printing), so in this case such plus/minus buttons could results extremely convenient. I've requested this enhancement for both firefox and thunderbird in bugzilla, hoping that this feature can be introduced in next versions. Thanks.
