When trying to use import on Thunderbird 78 it does not show where to import from. I have received info that I need to download an older version of thunderbird but I cannot find an old version. I have read all the forums and searched Mozilla's and thunderbird's site to no avail. does someone have the url for an older version. I have had Eudora for over 20 years but Win 10 wil not open it anymore. I installed Eudora Beta, but intensely dislike it. I don't like outlook either (both have boxes with a little X in the corner to open and sometimes, that doesn't even work along with a couple of other problems-i.e. encryption exceptions). I have hundreds and hundreds of email I have saved into separate folders for each topic. I want to keep them. If I can't import them, I might just have to keep them in the Beta version when I want to access them and manually input my contacts into thunderbird which will be time consuming..

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/ Pick a version, then the operating system and finally the locale

I suggest 3.1 as that was the one used for Eudora ose, but 17 was still good for Eudora import as well. After that things got a little shaky until they just did not work at all.

Install and import on a device that has a working copy of Eudora as there a Eudora settings that are read to locate the Eudora mail store and contacts.
