Thunderbird retains the last password you provided for email accounts. You can see those at settings>privacy&security by clicking savedpasswords and showpasswords. But, if you are receiving message that password is wrong, that means that the saved password no longer is correct. In that case, you need to contact your email provider for a new password. There is also the possibility of the Primary password being wrong, but you weren't specific.
