How do I get the tabs at the tob, search bar and icons back to a white backgroound with black print? I have trouble reading white print on a black background and when I switched to "inprivate" the background turned black with white print.

For Private Browsing mode you can set this pref to false in about:config to disable the dark theme.

  • about:config => browser.theme.dark-private-windows => false

You can open about:config via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
