the autocomplete function of the navigation bar is not working at all, I have already tried going through 'privacy settings' and 'about:config.'

I just updated to the latest version and I have a mac osx 10.4. Ever since this update the navigation bar doesn't come up with any history, bookmarks or anything at all. All of the settings in privacy and about:config were already enabled for the autocomplete to work...

Thank you for this, I think it worked! At first I changed the names of the files just by adding a full stop in there and nothing happened so I thought it didn't work. Later I restarted the computer for unrelated reasons and 'WALLA!'- navigation bar autocomplete suddenly working. I then realized that in the instructions it actually said I have to restart the computer. And just like magic, my life is happy again. THANK YOU! I would never have done this, even if I had found the info myself.
