Rename (or delete) the file cert8.db (cert8.db.old) in the Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites.

The file cert8.db stores user certificates and intermediate certificates send by websites, so if you have certificates that you want to keep then you may want to export them now and import them after having removed cert8.db.

Where can I access the profile folder?

I have searched for files on the laptop but can't find cert8.db either.

I have windows home premium vista.

I did thanks, although I noticed that the new release of Humyo version 3 maybe the problem, as an error message comes up stating that Humyo is being prevented by Data Execution Prevention settings.

I went into advanced system settings to see if I could turn off DEP. I get a further message stating that humyo must run with DEP enabled and that I can't turn it off for the program.

I have raised the issue with Humyo.

Thanks
