Have lost address bar and "File, View, Bookmarks, etc. bar. can't restore.

Firefox browser page apparently has become larger and the address line to connect to web sites and the line above containing the File, View, Bookmark, History, Options, has also disappeared. How do I get those lines back on top of the page where they were before. Top line shown now shows only what is loading or has loaded.
