I cannot open my Talk Talk mailbox since updating to Firefox 5.0

I can get onto the web page, but when I try to open my emails nothing happens. I spoke to TalkTalk support about this, and they say there is a problem with Firefox as a browser since recent updates. I updated to 5.0 earlier today and haven't been able to access my mail since then. I can get into my hotmail email okay using Firefox. When I changed browser, I managed to access my TalkTalk email as well. Should I change back to a previous version of Firefox?

Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 if you set the browser to lie to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.

You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums.

Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.

Does it work?
