When I am in Facebook upgrade I click don't allow it opens a new tab and I can't do anything - I don't want a Foxfire toolbar.

Each time I visit Facebook a Foxfire toolbar ask for permission and when I click don't allow it opens a new toolbar and does not allow me to do anything in Facebook. I am about to disable it all together because it is annoying. I don't have to download a toolbar that I DON'T want and I should not be forced to do so.

Do you mean this?

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
