My browser sometimes opens two tabs, both to the same site, qooqle.com. It happens when I'm browsing as well as when the browser is closed. There have also been a few instances where these tabs have opened and my screen started to flicker black. I have run antivirus and anti spyware programs, but no result. Any help would be appreciated.

That domain appears to be for sale: http://whois.domaintools.com/qooqle.com If you look at the picture, if that how the site looks when it loads unexpectedly?

But it sounds like you have some kind of browser hijacker installed if you aren't doing anything.

I came across a similar problem to yours a couple of months ago. See https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/824966#answer-188358 On that occasion, the culprit was called QooQLLE which is almost the same spelling.

Installing the freeware edition of Malwarebytes fixed it on that occasion, so I'd suggest doing the same thing as a starting point. Here's the download link: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free Use the option to perform a full system scan.
