When I click on "To" the names and e mail address do not come up but I can forward

I sign in..go to email....want to address who it is to go to, and when I click on the "to" the list of name and address do not come up and the little line that is in the address box disapears, and it seems like there is a "jump" on the e mail form...it seems to move up. I can open e mail to me, but can not address e mail out.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
