Cannot 'connect' to an existing sync account on second computer in order to get the sync key for 1st computer... help?!
I've tried to set up sync for a new laptop... I followed the instructions from the article How to sync Firefox settings between computers.
Step one on my desktop [home computer] went fine. Step 2 is not working... I click on the 'connect' button under 'I already have a Firefox Sync Account' nothing happens...
I really want to share my bookmark, etc. with the new laptop. Both computers are running the latest version of Firefox, both have windows 7 platforms

Hi!
Try the Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode just to make sure that none of your add-ons is blocking the normal behavior of this window.
Let me know if that helps and if not we can investigate how to solve your issue.
No luck :(
Does any of the other buttons do anything?
What exactly do you mean by "nothing happens"? Is it stuck? Have you tried to restart your computer before going in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode?
I'm completely unable to replicate it :( So I need your help to help you. Give me as many hints as possible please.
I restarted the computer before running in safe mode.
What I mean by nothing happens, is that when I click on 'connect' under 'I already have an account' the computer acts like I didn't click on anything, it just sits there.
If I click on create a new account it takes me to that screen, but I already have an account, so I haven't gone further on that screen.
I have made sure that I am connected to the internet, that there is a good connection, etc.
If we can't get it to work, no worries, I'll just replicate my bookmarks. I was just thought syncing would be perfect since I add new bookmarks for genealogy research...
Thanks for trying to help!
