I have the navigation bar checked, restored the default toolbar, reset firefox, restarted with add ons disabled, restarted the computer, restarted firefox, and updated my plugins. Firefox is updated too. Nothing is working. Thank you for your help and take care.

When you open the Customize toolbar panel, the Stop/Reload item at the end of the Location bar will "magically" turn into buttons that you can drag around. If you put them beside each other, they will combine into one button, but if you want them separate, I think you can but a separator between them.

Did you try to delete the localstore.rdf file in the Firefox Profile Folder?

Note that current Firefox use a combined Refresh/Stop/Go button on the right end side of the location bar that changes state accordingly.

Nope, that one is completely new to me. I can't seem to find that folder. I don't have Mac Lion so it shouldn't be hidden, but searching for the

~/Library/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/<profile folder>

   ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile folder>

doesn't turn anything up, Using the finder doesn't seem to point me to a firefox folder where I can find it. I tried to add an extension so that I may get the folder I get a "The add on could not be downloaded due to a connection failure on addons.moxzilla.org" message. (I don't have any other extensions also.)

I don't have a customized toolbar, it's just the usual one. I miss having my back and forward buttons lol.

I've had this happen before but it's always been fixed by checking the navigation bar button. :/

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

When I clicked on troubleshooting information I found a part labeled "Profile Folder" with a button to "Show in folder" when I clicked in it I didn't see the localstore.rdf file. Or do I copy and paste "Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder" or "Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder" in the help place? (Tried both but it only highlights the troubleshooting option)

Looks that you've used Reset a few times to create new profiles (the ones with a date/time appended; 1342221124009 is Fri, 13 Jul 2012 23:12:04 GMT), so you are probably using the default-1342221124009 profile.

Ah, yea I got a little push crazy with the reset button. lol.

Should I delete the localstore.rdf or the localstore-safe.rdf or both?

From the looks of that screenshot, you have the back button. It's attached to the left of the location bar.

The forward button is conditional. It only appears after you've clicked the back button. (and therefore have a page to go forward to)

The refresh button is the circled arrow on the right-end of the location bar.

True, although what I was hoping for was to get it back to the way it was up until today when I did something to make how it was change. It used to look more like screen shot one. I clicked on the customize part but I don't have an option to add in a stop or refresh button like how they are showing it in the link you posted. :(

Thanks! I completely missed the refresh and stop buttons that appeared when you click on customize. I do wish the kept the old look though.

Thanks for your help everyone! Sorry for being so computer illiterate. >.<;;
