I'm from the Outlook.com team at Microsoft and would love to get "Outlook.com" as one of the free options for 'New Email Address' within Thunderbird.

As far as I understand, Thunderbird is run by this community, rather than Mozilla's corp team. Who would be best to speak to, and what would you need from us?

Thanks,

The Outlook.com Team

Might I suggest you also look into adding OneDrive as a Filelink provider, especially as XP/Outlook Express users upgrade their OS and adopt TB as their desktop mail program. It would seem to be beneficial for both Mozilla and Outlook.com. I'm not aware of any similar integration that currently exists between TB and Google Drive.

You may want to try the connection method mentioned in this blog post about that feature:

If no response there, I would try this mailing list:

The first link you mentioned was perfect. The contact info inside the article is still relevant and we're now in touch with the Thunderbird team.

Thanks :)
