I was once able to add folders and now I can't. When I click on new folder, enter the name, and click on create folder nothing happens. If I click on "Create Folder" I receive a message it already exists but it does not show up. I've tried reinstalling thunderbird and that did not work. I've checked the directory and the folder that the message claims exists does not exist. I can see the other folders I've created.

I deleted the email account and installed it again. Now it appears I can add folders. But I can't

add folders to "Local Folders". When I select Settings under Local Folders and click OK I receive this message... The Local Directory path "/home/drc/.thunderbird/dk5wl794.default/Mail/Local Folders" is invalid. Please pick a different directory.

But when I check the path it's there.
