Gekozen oplossing

In the address bar type about:config then click on I will be careful set your browser.newtab.url preference to "about:newtab" .

To set it right click on browser.newtab.url then click on Modify and set the value and save it.


You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Conduit or any other suspicious software shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and search for prefs that refer to conduit and reset the related user set (bold) prefs via the right-click context menu to the default value.

If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:
