how to get an unchanging UI for Alzheimers spouse?

My is suffering from Alzheimers. I want to ensure that her version of Firefox stays up to date with the most recent security improvements and bug fixes. But with many of the updates, the user interface changes. Needless to say, this causes great confusion on her part. I would love to either have the interface stay the same or have a very simple way of changing to one non-changing UI as the releases move forwards.
