cannot delete any emails
i use thunderbird for 2 email account, and i cannot delete any email

can you provide some more details please? what happens if you delete them? any error message? do they re-appear after some time?
I can't delete. It does not work.

Is there a 'Deleted' folder in your Folder Pane? If yes, right click on Deleted folder and select 'Empty deleted' then right click again and select 'Compact'.
Now try to delete an email.

I allready removed thunderbird from my computer, and put it again on the computer. I can do everything, only not remove delete mails
So you have never been able to delete and therefore there is nothing in Deleted folder.

In thunderbird
- Help > Troubleshooting information
- click on 'show folder' button
- it will open a new window showing your Profile folder.
- Close thunderbird now.
- click on Mail folder
- click on mail account name
- look for 'Trash' and 'Trask.msf' files
- Delete these files.
- restart Thunderbird
A new Trash folder should be created.
try to delete an email.
Hi Toad Hall i did everything you said in the previouse help mail, but it didn't work.
when I use thunderbird i am in my workaccount. so not the administrator.

re: i did everything you said in the previouse help mail, but it didn't work. Please confirm that you closed Thunderbird first and then deleted the trash files, because it will not work if you forgot to close Thunderbird. The instructions were for Pop mail account.
Is the 'workaccount' a Pop or IMAP mail account?
