hello, you can also get to the troubleshooting data manually while in safemode by entering about:support into the address bar.

there's a button "copy raw data" on top of the about:support page - you can paste that into the troubleshooting section when you cretae a new question on support.mozilla.org or simply paste it into a reply of one of your existing questions...

There is a section for Crash Reports. It says non submitted for 3 days...

why not? I have been Force Quitting FF all afternoon, because it is becoming Not Responding during startup. That should generate a crash report.

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (localstore-safe.rdf file)
  • JavaScript JIT compilers are disabled (about:config page: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options/Preferences > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected
