I installed Thunderbird on a win7 machine and setup my email to test. Ready to deploy pc, don't want my eamil on it, re installed did not remove it.
I installed Thunderbird on a new windows 7 machines. I wanted to test email before deploying the machine so I added my email account to Thunderbird. Now I want to deploy and I can't remove my account because it's the only one. I read in a thread all I needed to do was remove and re-install Thunderbird. I did that and my account still shows up. Is there data/folder or file that I need to remove before the reinstall?

Yes. There is Thunderbird the program which you uninstall via Programs and Features.
When Thunderbird runs it creates a Profile and the mail account is in the Profile.
This is where the Profile is stored.
You may need to make hidden files and folders visible.
