My arabic translation shows alway "connection not secure"!
with the green lock and/or the gray lock, even when I click on it, it shows : الاتصال بهذا الموقع غير آمن (means: connection with that site is not secure)
but when I click on "المزيد من المعلومات" (additional informations), it shows "الاتصال معمى" (connection encrypted)
So is my connection secure or not? I'm confused!!
thank you

Hi, Apologies for the confusion, this is never the intent. The good news is that there is a bug on file for this. I have included the screenshots and descriptions that were provided in the thread.
In order to receive updates on the bug reported, it is possible to subscribe to the bug one registered for bugzilla.mozilla.org. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1104267
I do not have an ETA currently when there might be a change. But there are options if interested in investigating a fix.
Thank you again for pointing this out!

On the site with the lock, do you get one of the two displays on the left, or the display on the right (see attached screen shot)?
If you get one of the two displays on the left showing the certificate details and the golden lock image, I think there is an error in the description text.
Sorry, I thought I couldn't attach any pictures, you will find the problem with claimed encrypted website (for the unencrypted, it's exactly as what you showed)
Those look good and secure to me. If the text is incorrect, someone needs to review the specific "localized" version to see how that happened. I'm not sure how best to suggest that. Maybe another volunteer knows how to get that started.
Thank you very much for your quick answers :)
That means it is an error of translation!
I'll tell the Arabic team to correct this mistake !
Thank you very much for your help :)

No need for apology, keeping uniformity in translation is a hard task :)
Thank for caring about this issue :)
Looks like they fixed this and it will ship in version 34 which will be coming out next week. :-)
Sweet :)
