I'm devastated; I synched all my bookmarks, had to factor r-set my laptop, and now can't recall the password. Is the ONLY way to re-synch in such a case to delete all my data still currently on Modzilla servers? Really? It seems so utterly extreme to me, and I'm dying to hear there is a work-around.

Get your Sync password from another device that is using that Sync account?

And if that is the only device you have connected to your Sync account, you used Sync incorrectly.

Pardon me while I take the sharp stick out of my eye... that is, I KNOW I used it wrongly. IN fact, it is confusing as there are different log-ins for different parts of the Mozilla system - for synch and for support, and I didn't realize that. Now I need help getting out of the mess. I'm a relatively intelligent guy doing a thousand things a day - and I slipped up. Is this system SO unforgiving - read 'dysfunctional' - that I will lose all my hundreds of important links? Is there anyone 'home' at Mozilla that if I send them a signed letter etc they can help me personally? Or is this a person-proof system?

And to "the-edmeister" - I appreciate oyur voluntary efforts to help, but a little thoughtfulness when you respond to distressed community members, ok? Being right and being nice/helpful are a bit different... Thanks buddy...
