When I started Firefox today I discoverdd that Mozilla had somehow changed my start page to the Mozilla Start Page, which now redirects to Mozilla's Shameless Beg-For-Money-Page!

What malware did Mozilla use to do that? Or is Mozilla turning Firefox, itself, into malware?

Other than greed, why did Mozilla change my start page, without permission or warning???

I don't understand Mozilla's motivations, at all. They claim to be a non-profit, but act as greedy as a for-profit corporation. Is the "non-profit" act, how Mozilla lures in "volunteers"? So they don't have to support their own product?

What's going on with Mozilla acting SO dishonestly???

As far as I know, Mozilla is not changing anyone's start page. However, if you use the built-in Firefox start page, it rotates different "snippets" through on a regular basis.

Did you notice any other changes, or did you get the prompt about Firefox starting slowly and suggesting a Reset? If Firefox did performed a Reset, you should find an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop containing a recently updated, semi-randomly-named folder full of old settings files.

Incidentally, you do not need to donate to use Firefox and it's very easy to choose a different home page. See:
