updated foxfire, macafee not working

foxfire was slow, cleared history, cookies etc and also did a tune-up/refresh, now Macafee security not working with it when using google etc, still works on explorer. macafee used to be in upper right corner as well, now not there.

(Just FYI, it's Firefox, not Foxfire)

I'm assuming you are meaning McAfee site adviser? If so, that is a fairly useless piece of software that does little to nothing to enhance security. Your actual anti-virus, the part that actually protects you from viruses, is still running in the background no matter what browser you are using.
