I deleted an email with photo attachments accidentally. Now I wish to retrieve them. Please help me find a way of obtaining them. They were on my 'Archives' for months but I deleted them recently.

First off, I suppose you have accidentaly emptied the trash folder?

That procedure sounds accurate. As long as you haven't compacted the folder yet, the deleted messages are still in the folder file and can thus be "undeleted" by clearing the "deleted" status.

Another source with other tips is http://kb.mozillazine.org/Undelete_a_message (if this is an IMAP account, find an easier procedure well down in that article).
