How do I get Firefox to successfully logon to a website when using logon names and passwords that work on IE?
I am unable to logon to secure websites using known good logon information. The information has been successfully used for a long time with Internet Explorer. The Mozilla support site "Fix login issues on websites that require a username and password" procedures have not helped. In each case, the secure websites report that incorrect logon information has been provided. I then switch to IE and use the same information and the logon is successful.

Are you entering the information manually? If not, try it.
Try using the "Forgot My Password" link. You can always change it back.
Is this a possibility? I said that I am switching from IE to Foxfire. I use the same log on information on each. IE works, Foxfire does not. Is it possible that the secure site rejects the (correct) logon because the Foxfire appears as if it is coming from a different computer, and the security at that site rejects the logon?

What computer is trying to log in should not matter. The only thing that does is the User-Name and Password. What I want you to do is Manually enter that information. The data in Firefox may be incorrect.
Also, try using the Forgot Password link.
