Just set up the mail for Thunderbird and I use a hotmail address. Since I can't remember the password, it won't let me log in and if I try a new password, it won't let me do that either. Thanks for any help out there.

Also, the reply, reply all, forward, junk and delete bar is missing from my e mail page on my laptop. Can't find how to get it back.

Email passwords are administered with the provider. You have to work with them to reset a forgotten password.

Sorry, I should have asked. In the meantime I managed to figure out what to do to get the 'reply, forward, junk and delete bar back. Thanks anyway.
