I need to revert to previous version of FireFox. It upgraded me to the latest version and now RealDownloader addon doesnt work.
RealDownloader addon is on its latest version. It was end of life'd to force people to go to RealPlayer Cloud. (which is evil -it tries to snag all mp3 and video files on your PC and put it up in the cloud -they think this is a great feature people should be excited about) X(
Therefore I need to revert back to the FireFox version thats before 38.0.1 so that I can use the last version of RealDownloader as once we get to the latest version of FireFox - the RealDownloader doesnt show up even though in Add Ons it says its enabled. RealPlayer s solution is to say go use RealTimes -which is part of RealPlayer Cloud -that is not an option.
So how can I revert and stay on the older version of FIreFox?

Would you consider using a different downloader? There are so many... and Mozilla has already disclosed the security flaws in Firefox 37.

So far Ive not seen a safe, viable and user-friendly one. Ive tried about 4 of the top rated downloaders for firefox and none work well. One or two sorta work for youtube, the others require you download their converter to view them. Most include a bunch of other software that bundles malware in some cases. I dont use FF for anything thats super secure.
Hi, As long as you are fully aware of the security implications of using an older version, and you can't find a way around it please see Install an older version of Firefox.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Thanks, but how do I keep Firefox from auto-updating me back to the latest version? Also, if you could make it for RealDownloader to work on a later release again -then Id be willing to stay on latest versions.
Hi, go to Options (cog wheel) - in the 3-bar menu unless you've moved it, > Advanced > (Update).
RealDownloader isn't part of FF, so can't do anything about that I'm afraid.
