You can manage saved passwords and exceptions for remembering passwords in the Security tab of the Firefox Options, as described in the second section of this article: Security and passwords settings
Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:
- click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
- highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key - press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry
You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
- Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
- Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
This window shows if you have saved a password for the website that you currently are viewing.
You can inspect and manage permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page.
