Hello. A site that I visit often changed from http:// to https://. I prefer not visiting the same pages on the site, and use the "Visited" add-on to keep from doing that. Now my history is incorrect because of the change to https://. Is there a way to easily change all of the prefixes of the URL's in my history to https:// in the places.sqlite file? I did add the Sqlite Manager add-on, but have no idea hat I would need to do to change the URL's. I have also made a list of all of the URL's with the new https:// prefix, but have not been able to figure out a way to quickly add these to the Firefox history. There are several thousand of these URL's in the history, so manually changing them would take forever. I am hoping to not need to manually visit each page again to get them in the history.

It would certainly prove a difficult task to edit every entry in your profile's history to use https.

I can see that there are add ons that force encryption like:

The file is editable by text editors, and find and replace might do well, however I cannot guarantee that this might not break the places file, please make a back up before manually trying this.
