printer problems when using firefox

After upgrading to windows 10 my hp envy 5530 printer is no longer compatible with mozilla. The print format is so messed up. It takes an absurd amount of pages to print a simple recipe or document now. The text is so huge and gets cut off on the right side of the page. Any one else have this problem and have any suggestions? I love using mozilla and hate internet explorer or the new microsoft edge but in order to print from the internet I now have to use either of those browsers!
