Why can't I see all of my add-ons in the all in one sidebar?

I downloaded a fresh copy of Firefox after erasing my hard drive. All was well except I cannot see the extensions I am downloading in the sidebar. I know some extensions are downloaded because even though I cannot see them, I am able to use the ones I can remember. But I cannot make changes to preferences or even check if I have a certain add-on. At the top of the sidebar, I see a number 69/2. I thought this indicated number of add-ons, but I am no longer sure. The list goes only show add-ons alphabetically from A through F. The scroll bar ends here, so I cannot scroll down. What am I doing wrong?

Can you attach a screenshot?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

Did you check for other extensions causing this issue?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
