Multiple accounts with the same name

I have posted a question and request for help. There was one suggestion made by a volunteer which did not solve the problem and even though I updated the question with current status, no additional posts have been made. With some help I am sure we could solve this problem of multiple accounts with the same name that defies the conventional logic of just rename one and delete it. There are years of mail at stake here and a little attention could do the trick. Please contact me at your convenience.
