There is an option to download a `Lightning`calendar, but I would rather return to the original calendar that was on the email server when I started using it, about 2 weeks ago.

You saw this calendar in Thunderbird? Then it is Lightning. If it just appeared and you did nothing in particular to make it work, then it's local, not online.

If you saw the calendar in your browser then it will be online.

I'd suggest you just "download" or re-install Lightning and see if it was the thing you saw previously. If it isn't, remove it, nothing lost.

Tools|Add-ons|Extensions. If Lightning is listed , try re-enabling it. I'd expect it to tell you if it need an update.

If it is not mentioned, just type Lightning into the search box at top right of the add-ons window, hit return, pick it from the list of add-ons shown to you.
