Impossible to download the french dictionary on thunderbird. There is no version for mac. Quite anoying :(

TB 16 is the last version supported by 10.5, and you can get it here:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/16.0.2/mac/

The FR dictionary add-on should work with TB 16:
