Firefox stays in minimize and will not maximize!
I can not get firefox to maximize, tried to open properties and set to maximize. Still does not work, cannot get to safe mode or by trying to hold down shift while opening firefox. Removed firefox completely, reinstalled and still does not work. Finally just removed firefox completely, maybe a future version will not have this problem!

The problem was fixed while in Safe Mode, windows 10 and I was able to maximize and change options in firefox to start maximized!

Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
They start in safe mode but stay minimized and will not maximize
erased firefox/Mozilla from registry and reinstalled. still stays minimized after reinstall
Did you try to delete the xulstore.json file?
You can also try to create a new Firefox desktop shortcut in case there is a problem with the shortcut you currently use.
