Why does a message saying that frefox has crashed pop up on my desktop after I log off the internet (close Firefox)?
Occasionally after I close Firefox a Firefox program opens that says Firefox has crashed and that is supposed to report the crash to Firefox with my contents. Pretty much every time this happens I type in the comment that I closed Firefox (that Firefox did not crash). Regardless of whether I enter a comment and whether I instruct the program to reopen Firefox or to close Firefox, after I enter, I get a message that the reporting feature failed. How do I tell Firefox that this portion of the program is flawed?

That is called a shutdown hang.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
when I typed "about:crashes", there were a total of 19 unreported crash reports. due to the time involved in submitting the crash reports, I only manually submitted the last five. try to fix this. it's annoying.
