As mentioned; about a week ago. I started to be able to receive new emails but am unable to open older emails before 12/29/15.

When I try to open older emails I get a blank page for the body of the email. The address to/address from/ and subject are from the last email that I could open. This is for all emails prior to 12/29/15.

Before that date everything has been working fine. What happened and how do I fix it.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Keith

Right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button.

If your mails reappear it was a dodgy index. If your mails disappear, it was also a dodgy index, but in this case the index included a lot of mail that was not in the mail store. This is what I expect you to find hinestly.

If this is the case look in the activity logs of your anti virus for it quarantining or deleting a file names inbox on or about the date the issue started.
