how come all of a sudden I cant use a product I have always used when I'm on mozilla firefox
For the past few years, I have used Fast Connect, a service through comcast and http://whiteskyservices.com/. Been using mozilla firefox as my internet browser. Now all of a sudden, When i click on fast connect to get to something I want and need. Now Im being asked to install a new browser extension to enable my protection. click ok and follow the install instructions provided by your browser. I click ok and get next step install the fcps extension for firefox. I click install and get a message saying servies.whiteskyservices.com...firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer...allow. I click allow and i still get denied. How come all of a sudden this is happening.

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Sounds like they may be trying to install an unverified / unsigned extension. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Addons/Extension_Signing#Timeline
