I cannot receive emails, only send them
I have changed my password, as requested by the pop-up, but nothing helps. I cannot receive emails on my desktop. They arrive on my iPad, but some cannot be opened. Any ideas please? Simple language please!! Computer-speak is foreign for me! Thanks.
Of course, any replies will come on my Pad. I hope.

Try turning your ipad off and see if your desktop starts working again. Apple products have a habit of locking out other mail programs by longing in again and again until the pool of available logins is exhausted.
