Installed Lexmark clean-up page add-on and got "clean_page error: ReferenceError: lex_prefs is not defined" when I tired to use it. Anyone know what this means?

more options

Was REALLY looking forward to the idea of deleting stuff off of a page before printing it with the Lexmark Toolbar but when I tried to use it I got a "clean_page error: ReferenceError: lex_prefs is not defined" error message. Up at the top of that error message box it said (JavaScript Application). Now I'm totally clueless, since there seems to be issues with the JavaScript add-on. I do already have the Java Platform SE 8 U73 add-on installed...but the Java Deployment Toolkit has been permanently blocked. PLEASE shed me some light on the subject. Is there something else I am lacking? THANKS SO MUCH for any help!

By the way, I have Firefox ver. 44 installed and an using Windows7

These are the plug-ins I currently have installed:

  • Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 15.10.20056
  • A plugin to detect whether the Adobe Application Manager is installed on this machine.
  • Citrix Online App Detector Plugin
  • Foxit PhantomPDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape
  • Foxit Reader Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape
  • GEPlugin
  • Google Update
  • NPRuntime Script Plug-in Library for Java(TM) Deploy
  • Next Generation Java Plug-in 11.73.2 for Mozilla browsers
  • The plugin allows you to have a better experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0
  • 5.1.41212.0
  • Soda PDF 7
  • 2,5,3,1

I have never used a toolbar like that. Try using Print Edit. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-edit/

THANKS Ed! I tried the add-on that you suggested and it looks way superior to the one by Lexmart! So that's awesome and you just made my day.  :) Karen
