A handful of entries in the download history window won't clear. I've tried 'Clear Recent History' with the full time period selected as well as selecting 'delete' from the toggle on the downloads window and right clicking on each file. New entries will clear without a problem.

Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.
