It was working just fine until about one week ago. First I updated Firefox and video and music worked ok again for a day, then stopped. Then I "refreshed" Firefox, only to have it work again for about 3 days, now I'm back to blank video boxes and while streaming Rhapsody music, I can see bars moving up and down indicating that it's working, but I get no sound. Meanwhile Safari is working just fine. Also, just before video stopped working it was coming in only black and white. Thanks!

Are there any media related error messages in the Web Console ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Web Developer)?

It is possible that the HTML5 media player is used and that there isn't native OS support that Firefox relies on to play offered media types with the HTML5 media player.

There are 4 error messages saying "Permission denied to access property "toString" And there is one saying "Use of getAttributeNode() is deprecated. Use getAttribute() instead." There is also one saying "Error retrieving geoip data" I tried to attach the screenshot of that but when I click the "Browse button a blank window pops up (similar to the blank video screens). Only by blindly clicking around where I know the cancel button should be can I get rid of the blank box. Also, I was wrong about the black and white of the video; I confused what I was seeing in Safari. The webcam I was watching came across normally-- in color.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
