Sounds like you may have a "Toolbar" piece of Malware installed, See this" https://www.techsupportall.com/how-to-remove-television-fanatic-toolbar-uninstall-help/

See Step 3: to see how to remove it from Firefox, specifically. But you need to follow the complete removal procedure otherwise that Toolbar may just reinstall itself when rebooting or launching Windows.
