I have an odd issue on my linux 11 devices. i recently upgraded to ff38 esr and now I cannot print in landscape mode. If I select the landscape option in preferences, the PRINT comes out as landscape but the paper itself is still oriented as portrait.

Have tried new profiles , same issue. if I run ff24 esr, it works fine. problem didnt seem to start until ff 38 upgrade. Currently running SuSE 11 with FF 38.8.0 ESR.

Anyone have any thoughts? I was able to connect to this printer with a windows box and running ff 43.1 and it prints correctly in landscape.

Thanks, Steve

some additional info. If I open my test page in ff38 and save it as a pdf. I can go in from command line and run lpr -P lprinter4 /tmp/test.pdf and it prints fine.

Works in ff24, ff26, ff28. ff29 ff30 will not print anything. no error, printer starts but nothing comes out. ff 34, ff37 & ff38 are all no good. The print is in landscape orientation but the paper is portrait orientation.

Is there something that the newer versions of ff do not like with cups printing? Running cups-1.3.9-8.46.46.1 cups-drivers-1.3.9-2.31 cups-libs-1.3.9-8.46.46.1 cups-client-1.3.9-8.46.46.1

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (i586) VERSION = 11 PATCHLEVEL = 3

Any thoughts ??
