Tried to connect to the following sites http://www.eclipse.org/tycho/ and https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/maven-artifacts.html. I get Secure Connection Failed. No option to add exception. These sites works in both Firefox Android and Chrome. I go Options -> Advanced -> View Certificates -> Add Exception -> Unable to obtain identification status for this site. Add security exception is greyd out. Does not allow me to add any exceptions.

If I cannot get this to work in Chrome I will be forced to move to Chrome.

The two links you post work for me as does the secure version https://eclipse.org/tycho/

Have you already seen

You should not normally need to add exceptions. Possibly you have needed to do that because you have security software that interferes. You may need to set that up to work properly with Firefox.

On a problem page try pasting this special code into the addressbar, does that give you an exception window ?
